About Photos in the Rain
Welcome to Photos in the Rain, a little corner of the web where you'll get exactly what it says on the tin - a selection of Photos in the Rain and not much more. At any given time there will be between 50 and 100 shots on Photos in the Rain from all round the world and every now and then we'll rotate a few of 'em, to keep the content fresh.
Navigating and Image Size
Click on the previous and next arrows and work your way through the gallery or choose the shots that interest you directly from the home page. Either way, just keep in mind download times. We've purposely kept the quality of the photos high and along with their size, this may cause delays in loading, depending on your Internet connection speed.
Slow Connection Speed?
For those with slow connection speeds who'd still like to enjoy what Photos in the Rain has to offer, please take a look at observations of an unimportant man and Photograph London where most of these, (and thousands of other photos) are on display in a much smaller, user-friendly format.
Advertising
The web is drowning in advertising and although we're total hypocrites (our other sites are littered with the things) we thought it time to offer up some ad-free content to you lot out there who have been paying our bills for years (well, besides those links on the home page). If you're looking to advertise with Photos in the Rain or any of our suite of sites, please take a look at our advertising options or to tell us what you had in mind.
The Photos
The photos here have all been taken by Paul Dodson and most have appeared on either observations of an unimportant man, Photograph London, Photos by Streetlight, just BIG photos or 2camels. Some have made it into print, others have been showcased on the web, but all have at least a little significance to me. I hope you'll enjoy them too. I love to get your feedback, so please feel free to if you'd care to comment on Photos in the Rain.
Photo Usage and Buying These Photos
I'm not going to waffle on about ownership and stealing these photos. This is how I make my living so I'm really relying on the honesty of you guys out there to pay for any photos you'd like to use. If you're in the market for a high resolution, 3,040 x 2,016 pixel image, that looks great framed-up on the wall, in a presentation, in promotional materials or on a website, then click the cart icon next to the corresponding image, pay bucks through paypal and you'll be downloading your own image within a matter of minutes.
If you're not completely happy with your purchase and we'll return your money, no questions asked. You keep the photo at any rate. Can't get fairer than that!
Image Licensing and Commercial Usage
Paul's photos have appeared online and in newspapers, books and magazines from New Zealand to the Netherlands. For commercial use or image licensing for any photos here, or on any of the sites listed on this page, please with details of the publication, the print-run and the size of the photo when published, and we'll get back with a quote same day on most occasions. We're very competitive ;-)
Web Site Owners
We'd love a link to Photos in the Rain from your site but unfortunately we can't reciprocate - there just ain't no web directory here! We believe the web is not about reciprocal linking at any rate and if site owners concentrated on linking to sites they consider quality rather than looking to boost their rankings, the online world would be a much happier, friendlier place. If you do decide to include a link to Photos in the Rain on your own site, by all means tell us about it and if we like what we see, then you may just get a link back from a whole range of other sites we run - 2camels, An Aussie in London, Photograph London and observations of an unimportant man to mention but a few - in return. Give a little out and you may get a whole lot back in return.
